  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

      • have a minimum average mark of 75 in third-year subjects of the relevant major
      • be female
      • be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency

    Selection criteria

    The scholarship is awarded for academic potential and endeavour based on the candidate's academic track record and an application form, which must be completed.

  • Application process

    Fill in an application form and submit it to the Faculty of Science by the due date.

    Two scholarships are available for students enrolled in the Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics), with one specifically available for students specialising in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Biology.

    If you are specialising in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Biology, please indicate this in the application form so you can be considered for both scholarships.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    The scholarship offer will be made early in the academic year of award commencement.

What are the benefits?

This scholarship provides $5,000 per semester over two years, with instalments paid in April and September after census date.
