The Indigenous History Honours Prize was established with a gift from Dr Tony Ward and Gail Ryan and is offered to the student who has achieved the highest mark for an Honours thesis in the field of Indigenous History.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this prize, you must:

  • be enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Graduate Diploma in Arts (Advanced) in History (or their successors); and
  • have completed an Honours thesis in the field of Indigenous History.

Selection criteria

The prize is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their mark for the thesis topic. In the event of a tie, the prize will be split equally.
