The Indigenous Knowledge Project Grant is available to graduate researchers who are enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy - Indigenous Knowledge and are undertaking projects and activities that are directly related to their research.

Benefits

This grant provides up to $15,000 towards the cost of undertaking research-related projects or activities.

These include travel costs (such as accommodation, ground transfers, fuel, and meals), research participant honoraria, cost related to accessing data or archival materials, equipment and consumables for research activities, research translation or publication costs (such as copyright fees or image reproduction), and editing expenses.

Students can access the grant at multiple times until the maximum amount is used.

Eligibility

To be considered for this grant, you must:

  • Be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy - Indigenous Knowledge
  • Have met the requirements for confirmation of your candidature

Recipients must obtain prior approval for any significant changes to the approved budget, provide evidence of all expenditures, and return unspent funding.
