The Indigenous Students in Science Scholarship - Graduate is awarded to Australian citizens of Australian Indigenous descent in graduate coursework degrees in the Faculty of Science.

  • $10,000 per year (paid in two instalments in April and September) for up to two years

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived
  • Have applied for a University of Melbourne Faculty of Science graduate degree by coursework.

Selection criteria

This scholarship is offered to all eligible candidates who meet the minimum entry requirements for an eligible graduate coursework degree.

Conditions
