Summary

The Ivy May Pendlebury Bursary is offered to students and graduate researchers who are enrolled in a coursework or research degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, are members of the Church of England, and are experiencing financial disadvantage.

The bursary provides a one-off payment of between $2,000 and $5,000 (depending on the available income from the gift)

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this bursary, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a coursework or research degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music
  • Be a member of the Church of England, by baptism,  confirmation or other means

Selection criteria

The bursary is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their financial assessment score.

Conditions

Recipients must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
