The J. E. Taylor Honours Award is established in memory of John Edmund Taylor, late of Lansell Road, Toorak in the State of Victoria, timber merchant who died on 17 December 1943.

Benefits

One $2,000 prize awarded annually. The first award to be made available in 2018.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, you must:

  • Have completed a Bachelor degree, majoring in a discipline related to Clinical Pathology or other Clinical or Biomedical Sciences, within 18 months of the award.
  • Have successfully enrolled in the Clinical Pathology research project subjects (PATH40006 and PATH40007) as part of their Honours course, completing a project related to cancer.

Selection criteria

The award will be offered to the student who has achieved the highest WAM across years 2 and 3 of their bachelor degree.
