Summary
The J S Anderson Prize was established with a gift from the children of Professor John Stuart Anderson and is offered to students who are enrolled in a bachelor degree with honours or a master degree in Chemistry and have completed a third-year Chemistry research subject while enrolled in the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) in Chemistry or Master of Science (Chemistry) (or their successors)
- Have completed the subject Chemical Research Project as part of the Bachelor of Science (or its successor) at the University of Melbourne.
Selection criteria
The prize is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their mark for the subject Chemical Research Project (or its successor).
In the event of a tie, the prize will be split equally.
Conditions
Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
