Summary
This scholarship was established by Alice Ida Mirams to commemorate her son James Herbert Mirams, who was an engineering student at the University of Melbourne before serving in the 13th Field Company of Australian Engineers at Gallipoli in World War I. This scholarship is available to international students entering a specialised Masters program in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.
Benefits
The J H Mirams Scholarship is paid in two instalments of $5,000 per semester, for a maximum of one year.
This scholarship is subject to the Engineering & IT Commencing Scholarship Terms and Conditions. This scholarship cannot be deferred and is not transferable to other courses at the University of Melbourne.
