Summary
The James and Linda Wang Family Scholarship was established with a gift from the Wang Family Foundation, and is offered to domestic students who are enrolling in the Doctor of Medicine and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a living allowance of $10,000 per year for four years paid in half-yearly instalments of $5000.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
- Be enrolling in the first year of the Doctor of Medicine.
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be offered to the student with the highest overall disadvantage score.
Conditions
Students must:
- Maintain an academic status of Good Standing for the duration of their degree
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship
- Provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
