Jane Ariadne McLaurin Thomson & Barclay Thomson Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to students undertaking a graduate research degree in the field of arthritis.
It is available through the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and is offered to students who have applied for, or are enrolled in a graduate research degree of the faculty. The scholarship is offered for one year, to a value of $3,400.

Eligibility & selection criteria
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an outstanding graduate research applicant, or be currently enrolled as a graduate researcher, at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
- be undertaking research in the field of arthritis
- satisfy the Faculty's entry requirements for PhD
Selection criteria
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, the faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skill in the relevant research area, career aspiration and the terms and conditions of the trust.
The selection committee will base its assessment on the application form, academic transcripts, the faculty scholarship score and the student's project proposal, CV and referee reports.

Application process
Commencing students will be automatically considered.
Continuing students must complete an online application for Graduate Research Scholarships.
Recipients of trust-funded scholarships are required to reapply by 31 October each year or their scholarship funding will cease.
