Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an outstanding graduate researcher in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • be undertaking research in diabetes

Selection criteria

The selection committee will assess applicants for the scholarship based on:

  • demonstrated financial need
  • demonstrated research excellence
  • academic merit
  • faculty scholarship score
  • demonstrated skill in the relevant research area
  • career aspiration
  • terms and conditions of the gift

The selection committee will base its assessment on:

  • academic transcripts
  • faculty scholarship score
  • project proposal
  • CV
  • referee reports
  • statement relating to financial need, accompanied by supporting documents (where applicable to the individual applicant).
