Summary
The Jim Marks Postgraduate Scholarship is offered to outstanding postgraduate students who are from disadvantaged background, to support specific project or purpose; such as residencies, short films, research intensives, masterclasses, developing scripts, solo exhibitions.

This scholarship provides a one-off payment of approximately $2000 to $7000 (depending on number of successful recipients).

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be Australian citizens or permanent residents
- be a currently enrolled graduate student in any discipline at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music and demonstrate financial need
- put forward a project or funding proposal relating to your artistic practice
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their overall application.

How to apply
You must submit an application via the link below (link is visible only during the application open phase).
When will I know the outcome?
Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview to further discuss their proposal. This interview is expected to take place around mid June and will be via Zoom or Skype. All applicants can expect an update four weeks after the scholarships closing date.
