Summary
This scholarship, worth up to $10,000, supports outstanding postgraduate students demonstrating financial need and enrolled in any discipline in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Funding from the Jim Marks typically supports a specific project or purpose; such as residencies, short films, research intensives, masterclasses, developing scripts, solo exhibitions. These can be overseas or local. Shortlisted applicants will be called for a short interview with the selection committee.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be Australian citizens or permanent residents
- be a currently enrolled graduate student in any discipline at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music and demonstrate financial need
- put forward a project or funding proposal relating to your artistic practice
Selection criteria
Eligible applicants will be assessed on:
- artistic and academic merit
- career aspirations
- travel and/or project plan
- likely success in completing the proposed project/benefitting from the travel plan (addressed through questions in the application process)
- an interview for shortlisted candidates.

When will I know the outcome?
Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview to further discuss their proposal. This interview is expected to take place around mid June and will be via Zoom or Skype. All applicants can expect an update four weeks after the scholarships closing date.
