The John and Elsie Jago Prize in Community Dentistry was established with a gift from Professor John Jago in memory of his parents and is awarded to students who achieved the highest mark in the Population Oral Health components of the subject Professional Practice 1.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this prize, you must, in the award year:

  • Be enrolled in the Doctor of Dental Surgery (or its successor)
  • Have completed the subject Professional Practice 1

Selection criteria

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their mark for the Population Oral Health components of the subject Professional Practice 1. In the event of a tie, the prize will be split equally.
