Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be a second or third-year student enrolled in Painting or Drawing with the Faculty of Fine Art and Music
- demonstrate strong academic records
- demonstrate financial need
- have not received any other major scholarship or award offered at the Faculty of Fine Art and Music
Selection criteria
Eligible applicants will be assessed on artistic merit, academic merit, career aspirations, financial need and likely success in completing the proposed course of study.

How to apply
Applications are accepted in round one of the Student Financial Assessment scheme (link below). This scheme is open year round but you can ONLY be considered for the Cassidy if you apply within the round 1 dates.
- Round 1: Opens 1 January - closes 7 March
Submit an online Student Financial Assessment form in the relevant round by the closing date.
The application form will be available when the round is open.
When will I know the outcome?
Applicants can expect an outcome four weeks after the scholarships closing date.
