    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • have completed at least one year of full-time study of violin, viola or cello
    • intend to make music your career

    Selection criteria

    Applicants will be shortlisted for audition and interview with a small selection panel. Shortlisted applicants are asked to perform an unaccompanied piece of about 5 minutes duration and answer some questions relating to their performance aspirations and financial need.. Eligible applicants will be assessed on:

    • artistic merit
    • academic merit
    • career aspirations
    • financial need
    • the likely success in completing the proposed course of study.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Applicants can expect an outcome four weeks after the scholarships closing date. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an audition interview.
