Eligibility

To be considered for this ​grant​, you must:

  • Be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy – Science and be undertaking research in the field of native Australian animals.

Selection criteria

The ​grant​ is offered to the graduate researcher(s) ranked highest ​by the selection panel based on​ their application.

Conditions

​​Graduate researchers must:

  • ​Undertake the fieldwork for which the funding was awarded
  • ​Provide a short report on how the grant supported the research project and how the funding was spent. Unspent funds may need to be returned
  • Agree to acknowledge the funding source in their research outputs.​

  • ​Project summary including budget
  • ​Personal statement addressing how the project fits within the aim of supporting research projects concerning Australian animals, how the funding will stimulate a new avenue of research or benefit their career, and the likely impact of the research outcomes.​
