Summary
The Ken Eltham Scholarship was established with a gift from Kenneth Eltham and is awarded to Australian students who are enrolled in a masters degree by coursework in Engineering and are experiencing financial difficulties.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 per year for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $7,500 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen
- Be enrolled in a 200-point or 300-point Engineering masters by coursework degree in the Faculty of Engineering and IT
- Have completed at least 100 points but fewer than 200 points of study in your current degree.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their financial assessment score and personal statement.
In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by applicants are considered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Engineering and IT Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

How to apply
You must submit the FEIT Student Financial Assessment form and an application and include a personal statement addressing your interest in your chosen field of Engineering, career aspirations, impact of your current financial circumstances on your studies and how the funds will help overcome the challenges to achieve your professional goals.
