To be considered for this prize, you must:
- Be enrolled in any one of the below University of Melbourne programs:

- Master of Philosophy Science (Physics), or
- Doctor of Philosophy Science (Physics).
- Have completed a substantial research project in a branch of study related to Experimental Physics, in the previous year of any one of the below University of Melbourne programs:

- Master of Science (Physics).
