The Law Final Year Bursary is offered to support domestic students who are enrolled in the Juris Doctor and are experiencing financial difficulties.

Benefits

The scholarship provides fee sponsorship for one or two subjects.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered, you must:

  • be enrolled in the Juris Doctor in an Australian fee place and have completed a minimum of 200 credit points
  • have enrolled in at least two subjects for the two most recent half-year study periods
  • not have previously received a Law Final Year Bursary or a Practical Legal Training Grant

Selection criteria

The bursary is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their financial assessment score and subsequently their weighted average mark for the first 200 points of their course.

Conditions

Students must agree to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
