Summary
The Leo Stach Memorial Scholarship is offered to high achieving students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, studying Geology, and experiencing financial need.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a living allowance of up to $3000 per year for two years paid in half-yearly instalments of $1,500 in April and September.
*Students must continue into the Geology major in their third year.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science and have completed 100 credit points
- Have completed both subjects ‘The Global Environment’ and ‘Understanding Planet Earth’ (or their successors) with a weighted average mark of at least 80%
Next award will be in 2026.

The scholarship is offered to the eligible student(s) ranked highest based on their Student Financial Assessment Form.
