Summary
The Lochrie Indigenous Australian Education Scholarship supports Indigenous Australian students in the Master of Teaching or undertaking research in Indigenous Education.
Benefits
A living subsidy of approximately $6,000 per year for the two-year duration of the Master of Teaching or for up to two years of your research degree, based on full-time enrolment. Paid in two instalments annually following the census dates.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived
- Be enrolled, or intend to enrol, in the Master of Teaching or be undertaking research in Indigenous education at the Faculty of Education
Selection criteria
- Eligible applicants will be assessed on academic merit and responses to the application questions
- Preference will be given to students in the Master of Teaching (see eligibility above)
