Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, you must:

  • Be a current full time student enrolled in a Research Higher Degree (MPhil and PhD), Honours (BH-BMED or BH-SCI), or Master of Biomedical Science (MC-BMEDSC) through the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
  • Use the scholarship in the same year it is awarded. If the applicant is unable to attend the conference, then the scholarship will be withdrawn.
  • Only apply for one conference at a time.

Students can apply for up to two local/online and one international conference across the duration of their course.

Selection criteria

Awards are made based on the benefit to the student by attending the conference and presentation of work at the conference.

How to apply

Applications are made via the Application Form and submitted to the Graduate Team Leader aradhana@unimelb.edu.au by the due date, usually the end of the first week in April.
