The Mary Sloane Travelling Scholarship is offered to students who are enrolled in a graduate research degree in Agriculture, are undertaking travel to visit research institutions, and are experiencing financial need.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered you must be enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Science in the field of Agriculture.
Note: Graduate Researchers need to apply for Study Away if travelling for research-related activities away from the University.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application and financial assessment score. Receipt of other scholarships will be taken into consideration.
Conditions
Students must:
- Undertake the travel for which the scholarship is awarded
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

How to apply
You must submit the University Student Financial Assessment Form and an application and include:
- Details of research institutions to be visited
- Personal statement addressing the purpose of and commitment to their field of research
- Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to their field of research
- Statement of support from their supervisor
