The Masson Travel Award was established with a gift from the Masson Fund for Chemistry and is offered to students who are enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy and are undertaking travel for the purpose of conference attendance related to their research.

Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Chemistry
- Have met the requirements for confirmation of your candidature
- Intend to undertake travel prior to the maximum course duration date and prior to submission of your thesis.
Selection criteria
The award is offered to eligible students who are ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application and letter of endorsement from their supervisor. When determining the successful candidate for this this award, other awards received by candidates are considered.

How to apply
You must submit an application and provide:
- Details of the proposed travel, including purpose of travel, itinerary, and cost estimates
- Letter of endorsement from their supervisor confirming the benefit of the proposed travel
- Curriculum vitae including relevant publications, research experience or professional experience
- A statement outlining the benefits of the proposed travel for their research and future aspirations
Note: Graduate Researchers are required to apply for Study Away if travelling for research-related activities away from the University.
