The Mathematics and Statistics Diversity Award is offered to talented students who are enrolling in a Master of Science in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, identify as a woman or non-binary and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, your must:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) (or its successor)
- Identify as a woman (cis-gender or transwomen) or non-binary.
Selection criteria
The award is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their financial need score, personal statement and course entry score.
Conditions
Students must agree to give permission for the University to provide their name and course details to the donor of their scholarship and to provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

How to apply
You must submit the Student Financial Assessment Form and an application including a personal statement addressing your circumstances and how the scholarship will benefit your studies.
