This scholarship is awarded domestic students undertaking or intending to undertake postgraduate study in horticulture at the University of Melbourne, on the basis of demonstrated academic excellence.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, and
  • Be enrolling or enrolled in a graduate coursework or graduate research program in the Faculty of Science in the discipline of horticulture.

Selection criteria

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

  • Academic excellence as determined by the highest undergraduate course Weighted Average Mark (University of Melbourne equivalent)

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the potential to:

  • benefit from the scholarship; and,
  • make a major commercial contribution to the nursery industry.
