The MBBS Class of 1972 Medical Student Scholarship was established by the Alumni from the MBBS cohort of 1972 and is offered to students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine who are experiencing difficult circumstances.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine
- Demonstrate financial need
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their Student Financial Assessment form.
The selection panel consists of senior professional and academic staff members of the School.
In the interests of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received by students are considered.
