Summary
The MDHS Indigenous Research Training Bursary is awarded to Indigenous graduate research students enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences who are experiencing financial difficulties.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this bursary, you must:
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived
- Be enrolled in a graduate research degree with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in the year for which the bursary is awarded.
Selection criteria
The bursary is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application.
In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by candidates are considered.
Conditions
This bursary is subject to the MDHS Graduate Research Trust Scholarships Terms and Conditions. In addition, recipients must affirm and maintain their eligibility for support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. See: Establishing your eligibility
