Summary
The MDHS Indigenous Student Bursary is awarded to indigenous students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate coursework degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
Benefits
This bursary provides a living allowance of $2000 per year for the duration of the course, paid in equal instalments of $1000 in March and August.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this bursary, you must:
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree by coursework in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
Selection criteria
The bursary is offered to all eligible students.
Conditions
This bursary can be deferred to the following year with prior approval from the University.
Students must affirm and maintain their eligibility for support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. See: Establishing your eligibility
