The MDHS Scholarship Fund - Melbourne Medical School Bursaries commenced in 2010 from donations within and outside the University by an appeal form, to support scholarships for students in medicine, dentistry and health sciences at The University of Melbourne.' The Melbourne Medical School offers a number of bursaries allocated on a financial needs basis through the Melbourne Medical School Scholarship and Bursary allocation process.
Benefits
Up to $10,000 to assist with cost associated with their program of study. Multiple buraries are available.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
All students in a domestic place in any graduate award program in the Medical School are eligible to apply for support through this process.
International students are also encouraged to apply where their current circumstance of financial need was unforeseen at the time of commencement of the course. International students may be eligible for a limited number of bursaries or scholarships.
Selection criteria
Recipients will be selected by the Melbourne Medical School Scholarships and Bursary Allocation Committee made up of senior professional and academic staff members of the School. The selection of recipients is based on the applicant’s financial aid ranking as provided by the University Scholarships office.

Students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form (Round one) by the closing date.
