The Melbourne Access Bachelor of Arts Scholarship is for enrolling undergraduate domestic students who intend to undertake the Bachelor of Arts and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- have completed Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia;
- not have completed any subjects undertaken as part of a tertiary course;
- have applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate degree and submitted a VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS) for commencement in the year following completion of Year 12 or International Baccalaureate; and,
- meet the Access Melbourne entry requirements for the University of Melbourne course nominated in their VTAC application.
You are automatically considered if you have applied for admission to the University and submitted a VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS).
Selection criteria
Eligible Access Melbourne applicants for the University of Melbourne Bachelor of Arts under the VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships (formerly SEAS) criteria of disadvantaged financial background and/or resident of a rural or isolated area will be considered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Coursework Scholarships Terms & Conditions and can be deferred to the following academic year. In addition, recipients must enrol in a Bachelor of Arts degree. Recipients must agree to give permission for the University to provide their name and course details to the donor of the scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship when requested.
