Muriel Ramm Science Bursary

This bursary provides up to $10,000 to a student entering either the honours year of a Bachelor of Science, a Postgraduate Diploma of Science or the first year of a Master of Science degree in a school of the Faculty of Science. It goes to the candidate judged most likely to benefit academically from it, taking into account financial need or hardship.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria


    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • have commenced  your Honours year of a Bachelor of Science (in a Faculty of Science School), a Postgraduate Diploma of Science or the first year of a Master of Science coursework degrees (ie. Master of Science (Bioscience); Master of Science (Earth Sciences) NOT Master of Geoscience;Master of Environmental Science etc) in second semester 2018 or first semester, 2019 .
    • not be expected to receive more funds from the University other than an honours scholarship which covers a fee-based place

    Selection criteria

    This bursary is awarded to the candidate most likely to benefit academically from it. Selection criteria includes financial need or hardship from being a member of a minority or disadvantaged group.
