National Council of Jewish Women of Australia Fanny Reading Scholarship in Hebrew Language

The scholarship is awarded to the student or students who have achieved the highest mark overall studying beginners, intermediate or advanced Hebrew language subjects and enrolled in the degree of bachelor of Arts, including but not limited to the Diploma of Modern Languages.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • have studied beginners, intermediate or advanced Hebrew language subjects
    • be enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts or the Diploma of Modern Languages.
  • Application process

    There is no application process. The prize is awarded based on merit and the successful recipient will be notified via email.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    The award will be announced as soon as practical after the release of the end of year final results

    The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia

    In 1947 the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia presented funds to the University to endow a scholarship to foster Jewish and Hebrew studies, to perpetuate the name of Dr Fanny Reading, the founder of the National Council.
