Summary
The Nordling Award for Music Theatre was established with a gift from the Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation and is offered to high achieving Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) students who are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- B currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) (or its successor) in the awarding year
Selection criteria
The award is offered to eligible students who are ranked highest by the selection panel based on their personal statement and average results for prior study.
When determining the successful candidate for this this award, other awards received by candidates are considered.
Conditions
Students awarded this grant will be required to complete a letter of thanks to the donors of this award.

How to apply
You must submit an application and provide their academic transcripts for prior study and a personal statement describing the impact of disadvantaged circumstances on their ability to study (including supporting documents).
As with all scholarship applications requiring demonstration of financial need, you are strongly encouraged to also submit an online Student Financial Assistance Application by their closing date (early August).
If you already have submitted a Student Financial Assistance Application in the last six months you do not need to apply again but you can update and re-submit your details before the closing date.

Applicants can expect an outcome four weeks after the scholarships closing date.
