Summary
The Peter H Manger Scholarship was established with a gift from Peter H Manger and is awarded to Australian students who are enrolled in a graduate degree by coursework in engineering and are experiencing financial disadvantage. Preference is given to students enrolled in electrical, mechanical or infrastructure engineering.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of approximately $10,000 per year (depending on the annual gift income) for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen
- Be enrolled in the first semester of a 200-point or 300-point masters by coursework degree in Engineering.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application and personal statement. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Master of Civil Engineering, Master of Digital Infrastructure Engineering, Master of Environmental Engineering, Master of Mechanical Engineering or Master of Electrical Engineering (or their successors) if ranked in the top 50%.
In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by applicants are considered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Engineering and IT Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
