Summary
The Primary English Teachers Association of Australia (PETAA) Award for Excellence is awarded to students who are graduating from a Master of Teaching in Early Childhood and/or Primary Education in recognition of their excellence in English education.
Benefits
This award provides a twelve-month digital PETAA Professional membership and a certificate. One award each will be offered for the Master of Teaching (Primary) and Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary Education).

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must have completed the Master of Teaching (Primary) or Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) in the year for which the award is awarded.
Selection criteria
The award is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their mark for the subject Literacy Assessment and Learning (or its successor) if completing the Master of Teaching (Primary), or the subject Language and Literacy: Years 3 to 6 (ECP) (or its successor) if completing the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary).
In the event of a tie, the award will be offered to the candidate with the highest mark in the final literacy assignment for the subject.
