The Prize for Excellence in Mathematics and Statistics was established with a gift from IMC Financial Markets and is awarded to students who are enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics and Statistics and have achieved the highest results for the course.

Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics and Statistics in the year for which the prize is awarded
- Have completed at least 200 credit points of study.
Selection criteria
The prize is offered to the eligible student(s) ranked highest based on their Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for the course.
In the event of tie, the prize will be split equally.
