  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • Be conferred a Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) research training program, and
    • As part of the masters program, completed a substantial research project that significantly aligns to the discipline of pure or applied mathematics.

    Students enrolled at the university for more than 7 years, as of the 1st of January in any given year, will not be considered for this award.

    Selection criteria

    Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

    • Academic merit,
    • Examiner reports.
