Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be in the third year of the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne,
- Be from a rural background
- Demonstrate Financial Need by completing an online Student Financial Assessment Form
Preference will be given to high-achieving students that intend to pursue teaching of science as a career.
Selection criteria
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:
- Academic merit,
- Level of disadvantage based on financial need and rural or regional background,
- The potential impact of funding,
- The proposed intention to pursue a career in science education.
Applicants need to submit a Student Financial Assessment Form to be considered for this scholarship
