Summary
The School of Early Childhood Studies Fund - Placement Scholarship will provide travelling support for select Master of Teaching candidates who are undertaking a regional, rural or remote Indigenous placement in Australia, or international placement in an Early Years setting. For successful recipients, funding provided will be a contribution towards the cost of the program, rather that covering the cost in its entirety. Selection is competitive and submitting an application does not guarantee success. NOTE: the application link will be available on this site when the round related to your program opens.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a one-off payment, based on the following calculation:
- $100 per placement day for domestic placement/WIL
- $200 per placement day for international placement/WIL
Note: the scholarship is designed to contribute to costs associated with a program of travel, not to cover the entire cost.

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) or Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary)
- Be undertaking a regional, rural or remote Indigenous teaching placement in an Early Years setting or an international placement in an Early Years setting.
