Summary

The Schubert Bursary was established with a gift from the Schubert Centenary Concert given by the University Symphony Orchestra and is offered to students who are enrolled in a coursework or research degree in Music and  are experiencing financial need.

The bursary provides a one-off payment of approximately $350 (depending on the available income
from the gift).

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for the bursary, you must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Music or Master of Music
or Doctor of Philosophy (Music) (or their successors).

Selection criteria

The bursary is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their financial need score.

Conditions

Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
