Summary
The SF Pond Travelling Scholarship was established with a gift from Samuel Austin Frank Pond and is offered to students or graduate researchers who are enrolled in a graduate degree in Forest Science and undertaking overseas travel related to their study or research.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Ecosystem Management and Conservation (or its successor), or a Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Forest Science
- Have met the requirements of your candidature
- Have not consumed more than 3 years (full-time equivalent) of candidature.
- be undertaking overseas travel
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) or graduate researcher(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their personal statement and statement of support from their supervisor. Applicants who have not received this award previously will be given preference.
Conditions
Recipients must:
- Undertake the travel for which the scholarship was awarded and provide a report upon completion
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

- Statement of support from your supervisor.
