The Sir William McKie Travelling Scholarship is offered to students studying the organ or piano at a school of music in London approved by the head of the University's School of Music. This scholarship is open for application biennially (odd years).

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must be a graduate in organ and/or piano from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and have graduated within the previous five years.

Applications will be assessed on the basis of:
- Artistic and academic merit
- Career aspirations
- Travel and study plan
- Likely success in completing the proposed course of study/benefitting from the travel plan.
