Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this bursary, you must:

  • be enrolled in second year of a bachelor's degree in visual arts at any Victorian tertiary institution.
  • employing traditional media (but 'traditional' does not apply to the subject matter of the work)
  • focus on developing drawing skills and be responsive to extending the media in approach and subject.

Selection criteria

Eligible applicants will be assessed on:

  • artistic merit
  • academic merit
  • career aspirations
  • financial need
  • likely success in completing the proposed course of study.

Students will be selected by the Dean, on recommendation of the committee. The successful applicant will be notified via post of the outcome. All other unsuccessful applicants will be emailed.
