Summary
This scholarship is awarded to a second year Doctor of Philosophy Science School of Chemistry student, who is pursuing research in a branch of study related to Colloid and Surface Chemistry, and travelling to present the results of their research at a conference.
Benefits
Up to $1500 for an international conference, or up to $1000 for a local conference. Further funding may be awarded to students on a case by case basis.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- Be a second year Doctor of Philosophy Science School of Chemistry student pursuing research in the field of Colloid and Surface Chemistry, and
- Require funding to present a paper or poster in a relevant area of research, at an institute of international standing, either in Australia or overseas.
- Provide evidence of conference presentation acceptance.
Note, retrospective travel activities will also be considered for the award of this scholarship.
Selection criteria
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:
- Academic merit,
- The relevance of the conference to the discipline of Colloid and Surface Chemistry,
- The international standing of the conference.
