Summary
The Undergraduate Excellence in Computing and Information Systems Scholarship was established with a gift from Larsen and Toubro Infotech and is awarded to talented Australian students who are enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a major in Computing and Software Systems.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of approximately $10,000 (depending on the annual gift income) for one year, paid in half-yearly instalments in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Extended) or the Bachelor of Design with a major in Computing and Software Systems
- Have completed the subject Design of Algorithms.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their mark for the subject Design of Algorithms.
In the event of a tie, more or fewer scholarships will be offered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Engineering and IT Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. In addition, students must:
- Remain enrolled in the Computing and Software Systems major
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
