Summary
The Valerie and Lawrence Kennedy Scholarship will provide travelling support for select Master of Teaching candidates who are undertaking a regional, rural or remote Indigenous placement in Australia, or international placement in a Primary school setting. For successful recipients, funding provided will be a contribution towards the cost of the program, rather that covering the cost in its entirety.Selection is competitive and submitting an application does not guarantee success. NOTE: the application link will be available on this site when the round related to your program opens.
Benefits
The scholarship is designed to contribute to costs associated with a program of travel program, not to cover the entire cost.
Benefits amounts paid at:
- $100/per placement day for domestic placements
- $200/per placement day for international placements.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Primary) or Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary)
- Undertaking a regional, rural or remote Indigenous teaching placement in a Primary school setting or undertaking an international placement in a Primary school setting.
