Eligibility & selection criteria
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an outstanding graduate research applicant, or enrolled graduate researcher, of the Melbourne Medical School within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
- be a medical graduate
- satisfy faculty entry requirements for PhD
Selection criteria
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, the faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skill in the relevant research area, career aspiration and the terms and conditions of the trust.
The selection committee will base its assessment on the application form, academic transcripts, the faculty scholarship score and the student's project proposal, CV and referee reports.

Commencing students will be automatically considered.
Continuing students must complete an online application for Graduate Research Scholarships.
Recipients of trust-funded scholarships are required to reapply by 31 October each year or their scholarship funding will cease.
