The W. P. Greene Scholarship is offered to candidates who undertake research in cancer.
Benefits
The scholarship provides an annual top-up scholarship of up to $3,000, paid fortnightly, (depending on the annual gift income).

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an outstanding applicant commencing a graduate research degree, or currently enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
- Be undertaking a research relevant to cancer at the University of Melbourne Centre for Cancer Research (UMCCR)
- Have a principal supervisor affiliated with the UMCCR
- Demonstrate exemplary skills in the nominated research area (cancer)
- Satisfy the Faculty’s entry requirements for graduate research

The scholarship s offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by selection committee based on their application.
