  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • be an Australian citizien or permanent resident;
    • be currently enrolled with or have graduated from the University of Melbourne;
    • intend to undertake a graduate research in the area of animal husbandry at an overseas institution; and
    • not have completed a course of study at the same or higher level as the proposed overseas study.

    Selection criteria

    Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, their personal qualities and financial position. Preference is given to students intending to study at Queen's University Belfast.

    Students who have submitted an application, should receive an outcome within 6 weeks after the relevant closing date

What are the benefits?

An allowance of up to $30,000 per year for the duration of the overseas study. The value may be varied depending on the circumstances of the applicants. The allowance is paid in two instalments, usually in May and October.
